Any form of creating can be very cathartic. Assisting with healing the physical, emotional, mental and spiritual aspects of your being. The interesting thing is that while ‘creating itself’ is very healing, connecting with something has been created is also very healing. Whether it is music, song, art, colour, poetry, beauty, anything creative that stirs a reaction, emotion or response from you, has the opportunity to produce change in the very depths of your being. Healing Energy Cards work with the energy of colour and pattern. Because your artist is a natural healer, there is a lot of energy from her transferred into the essence of each card. Not only did Lee-Anne draw each picture (except #14, which was painted by her son), she also designed them and connected with the appropriate title and words to accompany each picture. Lee-Anne also hand packaged every card into the pack, after cleansing and infusing powerful healing energies into each one. The beautiful thing about healing with art, is what that particular picture reflects to each individual. Every individual will sense something different from the cards. This is because the card acts as a mirror, reflecting the individuals own hurt and pain. For those who want to see and want to move out of their hurt and pain, this can be extremely useful. For those who are not ready, this can be confronting. What part of the card are you drawn to first? What feeling is stirred within you when you connect (look) at that part? Are you repulsed by anything on the card? Do you like any part of the card? What does that aspect or card mean to you? Finding out what the message is within each card is of personal and unique opinion. It is essential that you trust your intuition as you work with the cards. Many people don’t do this, so that is another aspect of your life that the cards can help you with, trusting your inner guidance or intuition. A great way to heal through art therapy is drawing a mandala. If you are hesitant about this, you can find mandala templates online and do some colouring in. However, if you are ready, you can grab some paper, some pencils, textas or other material and create. Creating from the inside out to the edges. Allowing your intuition to guide you to create the perfect colours, patterns and process for you in that moment. When you have finished, sit back and reflect on your mandala. What is it saying to you? It represents your subconscious, it also connects in with the state of health of your entire being. From your physical, emotional, mental and spiritual aspects in that moment, which often stem back to the very dawn of time.
